Oh so daisy ✿

Hello stars

I would like to be called Daisy, like Daisy in The Great Gatsby (love the movie), it's such a pretty name + it's IN right now! Just look outside of your window (ofcourse not if you are in Italy and it's snowing...) if there are no daisies there (where you live) just look online or go to the mall - I am sure there are daisies there! It's like the new galaxy in prints. And they are super cute!
It was actually first spotted on Prada's catwalk last year, but it's first in the High Street stores now.

This is just a couple of Daisy-things I love, but there are much more. And remember: it doesn't matter what it is, it just shall have daisies on.

Life update and weekend style

Hello stars

I'm so sorry but I was so busy in this week. I had a party on my School and I had to pack because I'm going to Italy on ski holidays tomorrow. I love skiing and it's one of the few sports I'm good to. So I don't know if I will be able to write something in the time (I don't know if there is WiFi on the hotel so...) but I will try. So now it's friday and I finally have some time to write something... and it's friday so it's time to weekend style!

Now about the weekend style: This weekend I chosen some super comfy clothes (again), this time it's because I will sit in a car in 14 hours... and read The help. Seriously if you have not read this book should you really do it!

Oh, and if there are any language mistakes in here, please don't be mad at me. It's late and I'm tired.

Sarah's shoes

Hello stars

Have you seen Sarah Jessica Parkers new shoe line, she designed for Nordstrom? If not, you better see it, if yes, what do you think about it? I personally love them all, they are classic and chic with a little Sex in the city twist. But I think it's unbelievable how a women can be a beautiful actress, designer and style icon on the same time, it's just a little unfair. But who don't get a little jealous of women like Sarah? And now back to the shoes. This is just some of my personal favorites, but you can see the whole collection here: http://shop.nordstrom.com/c/all-sjp-sarah-jessica-parker?origin=productBrandLink

The Carrie (the nude colored t-strap pump) is my favorite model, maybe because of the name... No it's not just the name, the whole shoe just amazing I especially love the details and the color. And you can style them with anything from jeans with a white t-shirt to LBD.
But here is what Sarah says about the Carrie shoe:

“Carrie is obviously one of my favorite people, and this is an ode to her. It's a strong shoe that can be worn for day and night. I love the way the strap dips down the front of the foot, accentuating the length of the leg and the delicacy of each strap. All of the details and the gorgeous grosgrain down the back combine to make it deserving of its namesake.”

-Sarah Jessica Parker

And btw (again) what do you think about Sarah Jessica Parkers new shoe line?
Have a great weekend!

Clear as water ♥

Hello stars!

I've been making this cute clear makeup bag in the weekend, but I was to tired to post it yesterday, so I am first posting it now (sorry for that). But this is just a super cute way to storag your makeup or hair accesories or whatever you want. I personally have it in my school bag, and I have hair elastics, bobby pins and lip balms in it. The smart thing with this is that it's clear and you can always see what it's in it and you don't need to open it to see what's in it!
It took about me 15-20 minuts to make, and it was super easy the only difficult thing was sewing the other side of the zipper, but I could do it so I'm sure that you also can!

If you don't have a sewing machine you can also sew it normal but it's easier to sew it on a sewing machine.

Materials: clear vinyl, zipper, scissors, a sewing machine, pins, sewing thread. You actually don't need a marker, but if you want to you can draw where you want to cut your vinyl.

1) Cut your clear vinyl so it match the length of the zipper. My was about 36 x 15 cm = 14,2 x 5,9 inches.

2) Pin your zipper to the vinyl, pin it so the zipper is on the wrong side. It's very important that the zipper is open!

3) Sew the zipper, it's a little tricky but you just need to do it as good as you can.

4) Now sew the sides together. Remember to leave the zipper open, if you don't open it before you sew the sides together you can't turn your makeup bag on the other side.

5) Now turn your bag on the other side, and you are done!

That is pretty much it! I hope you guys enjoy and liked this little DIY project!

Weekend style: pink fluffy bird

Hello stars!

Oh it's finally weekend... so it's time to Alexa's weekend style, okay this is the first time a made a weekend style post but... yes! But because we are in Marts now I've been thinking about something with pastels and something that is light and fluffy. So why not a fluffy cartigan in pink (or maybe more light nude pink), I have seen many people in fluffy cardigans or sweaters, and I love them so much (the cardigans or sweaters not the people, not that I hate the people, it's just... Stop it Alexa)!
But the the thing is that the fluffy cartigan is one my Things that I need to buy in March-list. I think I would style it with my jeans, a white t-shirt and my black loafers or Converse and then I could say Spring here I come!

Weekend style:
Fluffy cartigan - H&M
Nude/Black Point Flat Shoes - ASOS
Black leather bag - Topshop
White top - New Look
Skinny low ankle jeans - H&M

P.S. This is homemade

Hello stars

No, this post isn't about the Oscars...sorry guys. Even though the dresses was amazing (my favorite was  Lupita Nyong'o, her dress was so beautiful, like herself! First the Golden Globes now the Oscars...) but I just think that to many people are writing about the Oscars, so this is a post about a completly different thing - DIY face masks.
After a long monday you always need a face mask... so I've been making some different DIY face maskes, here are my top 3:

Honey & salt mask
This is a super easy face mask for acne - the only things you will need is salt and honey! Mix the two ingredients together and then leave on for 10 - 15 minutes or until its dried. Then wash it off. This mask is very good for people with oily skin. But if you don't have oily skin(like me), don't worry you can still use this amazing mask, just use sugar insted of salt.

Easy egg white mask

This is also a super easy face mask with only two ingredients-1 egg white, separated from the yolk and 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt. Again, mix the two ingredients together and then leave on for 10 - 15 minutes or until its dried. Then wash it off. This mask moisturise your skin!

Honey, yoghurt & oil mask
For the last face mask you will need three ingredients: 2 teaspoons honey, 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt and 2 teaspoons olive oil. This is a really good mask for dry skin, because it indholder oli. I have self very very dry skin, and this mask make my skin very soft and a less dry.

Have a lovely week.

The big blueberry post

Hello stars

I'm obsessed about blueberries in the moment (they are so cool), so here is my first official blueberry post (WTF???). But yes this post is about blueberries, so let's start with some facts about blueberries…no I'm just kidding.

But I found some blueberry drink/beauty/fashion things that I love and want to share with you!

1. Simple blueberry milkshake
So, I've been searching for a simple recipes for blueberry smoothie/milkshake that I can drink when I watch my favorite tv-show (Greys Anatomy or PLL). My favorit is the most simple, a milkshake with only 4 ingredients: vanilla ice cream, milk, greek yoghurt and (of course) blueberries.

2. Blueberry body butter from The Body Shop
This is one of my favorite body butters from The Body Shop. I don't have it(yet), but every time I am near a The body shop-store I go inside and try it Hihi. The smell is lovely, plus it leaves my hands really soft.

3. Dress from Topshop
This dress reminds me so much of blueberries! I don't know why(maybe I'm just weird), no matter what I love it. It is so pretty and the print is so cute. The color is also pretty and blueberry-like.

Btw I was tagged by the beautiful Mia from http://mimibeauty07.blogspot.co.uk to do 'The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag'. Thank you so much Mia! I will write more about it soon!
Hope you have a great weekend.
