Pack like a pro with Alexa ✈

Hello stars

I'm flying to New York City tomorrow, so I thought that I could make a guide on how to pack like (almost) a pro. I love packing (am I the only one?), I think my passion about packing began a few years ago, when I saw a gorgeous picture of a suitcase, in a magazine, with the headline: Pack like a pro. It was love at first sight. I remember I looked at the picture for 15 minutes, and I still just can sit and look for new details in the suitcase.
So I decided to share some of my best packing tips with you:

- Roll your socks and put them in your shoes.

- Fold trousers and T-shirts once and roll them to avoid wrinkles.

- Put your shoes in bags and pack them in the side of the suitcase.

- Keep your beauty products in airtight bags to avoid leaking.

- Layer your shirts and dresses with tissue paper and put them in plastic bags to keep them crisp.

- Pack your suitcase in to layers: The larges and most heavy items (shoes, books, beauty products) near the wheels and the clothes that should avoid wrinkles on the top.

- Top with a towel, knit sweater or jacket.

- If you only have a hand baggage remember to have easy access to your beauty products in the case that you should take them out during the security control.

This is a picture of my suitcase. It's not perfect but I'm only 14, so I have long time to make it perfect.
Btw I will probably not be able to write anything in the next two weeks, because I'm not taking my computer with my to New York.

The Body Shop Body Butter Review

Hello stars

I have not done a beauty post for a long time, so I thought that it was the right time to do a little beauty review. A couple of weeks ago I've got a little gift set with four different body butters. I already had two, so today I am going to review six of The Body Shop’s Body Butters. Which is something I have been using in the past month.

Nr. 1: Strawberry

5 out of 5 stars

I have always loved the smell of strawberries, so of course I love this body butter. The strawberry fragrance lasts for at least an hour and then the smell slowly fades. After applying the butter soaks into the skin quickly leaving it hydrated and soft. I really love the packaging of the strawberry body butter and it's one of my favorites. Another thing that I love is that the body butter is pink!

Nr. 2: Shea

1 out of 5 stars

I hate the smell of this body butter, I think it smells like a perfume for men. I don't know why, but I just don't like it. I also think that the packaging is a little boring and I don't think I will buy it again. I am just not a girl that like the smell of nuts (if shea is a nut... I think it is, but i'm blonde so...)

Nr. 3: Olive

4 out of 5

The Olive Body Butter is very natural. It have a nice and natural smell of olives, that I actually like very much. The fragrance is not overpowering and also good for sensitive nose as well. I don't like the color of the packaging, I think it looks old... maybe a weird thing to say (or write) but... that's my opinion. On the other hand, I really like the fresh green color of the butter.

Nr. 4: Moringa

3 out of 5 stars

This body butter smells weird (like a moringa flower I think), I personally don't really like the smell. Thankfully the fragrance isn't very strong and doesn't last very long. The butter is hydrating and makes my skin very soft. It's not one f my favorites, but on the other hand, my mom loves it, so I think it depends from person to person.

Nr. 5: Pink Grapefruit

3 out of 5 star

In the beginning I loved it, the smell was amazing the packaging and color of the cream gorgeous - the whole thing was perfect and the body butter was my favorite. So why only 3 stars? The packaging and the color of the butter haven't changed - it's still super pretty. The smell... is just... I don't like it. I don't know how it happened, but after a week of using the product, I just think that the smell change (is it even possible?). Again, maybe it's just me.

Nr. 6: Lemon

5 out of 5 stars

The Lemon Body Butter is also one of my favorites. The smell is very nice and fresh - I sometimes want to eat it... UPS. Maybe it's just me but I think the lemon butter is lighter and easier to apply than the others. I love the bright yellow color of the packaging as swell as the light yellow color of the butter.

SOS: running with Arctic Monkeys

Hello stars

I've actually been a very good blogger lately, a post yesterday, two posts today...
In the last couple of days, actually almost week, I've been running almost every single day. Okay, I'm only running 3km, but I think it's a good start.
So, when I run I like to listen to some different music. Sometimes it's old classic songs, hipster music or even classic music, but right now I really love to listen to Arctic Monkeys. When I play their songs on the highest (or almost) volume, it just really motivates me to run.
So for this Sound of Sunday, I have chosen my top 3 favorite Arctic Monkeys songs. All the songs that I have chosen are from their newest album AM.

Nr. 3

Arabella

Nr. 2

R U mine?

Nr. 1

Do I wanna know?

OOTD: 3 piece summer ☀

Hello stars

Today's OOTD is super simple, but (in my opinion) still cute and very trendy. I've decided to style this season's must have - the crop top, with a super basic skater skirt. The last piece in my outfit are my silver sandals from the danish designer Ilse Jacobsen. I love my new crop top because I think it's very positive. Instead of for example I hate mondays or I'm not a morning person, it says Good morning monday, which to me seems very positive.
There is only 5 days to my trip to NYC!!! It will be my first time in the US, so I'm pretty excited. I hope that I will buy a lot of clothes, shoes, accessories, makeup and school supplies.

Summer DIY: Harry Styles phone cover ☼

Hello stars

I hope you all have a good summer/vacation. I just got back from Cyprus a couple of days ago and I'm soon going to New York City.
I'm a Directioner and maybe I'm a little obsessed with Harry Styles <3… he is definitely my favorite member of 1D and I can proud call myself a Harry girl. I went online and I was looking at Harry Styles covers. I found a super cute Harry cover (www.redbubble.com) but it cost 37$, so I thought I could DIY it.

So, first I painted my cover gold because I did not like the original color of my cover.

While the paint was drying, I found some lovely pictures of Harry Styles on the internet, printed them and cut them out.

Then I glued the pictures on the cover and painted it with transparent nail polish.

And then I had my own Harry Styles phone cover!!!

Chanel AW14 haute couture show

Hello stars

Do you know what happened tuesday? Chanel autumn/winter 14 haute couture show, which is one of the most important and most anticipated shows in the fashion world! Karl Lagerfeld chose the Grand Palais to showcase Chanel's latest collection.
At the end of the show came Karl with the seven months pregnant model Ashleigh Good, who was wearing a gorgeous wedding dress.

Even though it was very difficult to choose, here are my three favorites from the show:

And here's the one (and only) I did not like:

And here are some of the guests from the show, including Anna Wintour, Kristen Stewart and Lily Collins:

Summer DIY: Lazy Friendship Bracelet ✂

Hello stars

If you need some inspiration, on what to do in the summer, then this is the right place! Or at least... maybe. I've decided to do some Summer DIY projects - and this is one of them.
I wanted to make a tutorial on the friendship bracelet, but I don't think I'm the best person to explaining things, so I'm taking the easy way out now. Here is a link to one of my favorite DIY blogs: Honestly WTF, that have a super good tutorial on how to make friendship bracelets.

 ---->   ---->  ----> http://honestlywtf.com/diy/diy-friendship-bracelet/ <----  <----  <----

This is a amazing thing you can do, if you are bored, or just want to be creative. The friendship bracelet is very easy to make, but it take time - so it's not something you can make in 30 minutes.
Because it take so long time, I decided to make it half a friendship bracelet and half a braided bracelet. It look very cute too and it's a good trick if you are (like me) a little lazy.

So here is how my friendship bracelet turn out:

This is pretty much it! I'm sorry that I was too lazy to write a real DIY post.
